Badge Guidelines
How to Display the DDD Badge
Every dealer must agree to these guidelines before receiving a badge. The badge only appears for vehicles with a live report.
Correct use
- Use the badge at a size where the DDD mark, report date, and last 6 of the VIN are all legible.
- Place the badge near the listing photos or on the vehicle's window sticker.
- Always link the badge to that vehicle's live report by VIN.
- Include the QR code that resolves to the vehicle's report URL.
- Show the report date and last 6 digits of the VIN alongside the badge.
Prohibited
- Describing the dealer or vehicle as certified, verified, inspected, approved, or guaranteed.
- Altering the DDD mark, colors, or proportions.
- Placing the badge on a vehicle that does not have a live DDD Report.
- Linking the badge to anything other than that vehicle's report.
- Implies that DDD inspected, rated, or warrants the vehicle.
Approved wording
"DDD Report" · "DDD Report Dealer: look for the report on each car." · "This car has a DDD Report. Scan to see it before you buy."
Never use: certified, verified, inspected, approved, guaranteed, warranty, passed, safe, or seal of approval.
